Here is a something I do not get to make very often. Actually, the last pipe I made was #2462 which is 160 pipes ago. This Dublin is one of the cleanest pieces of wood I have ever had the privilege to work with. It is some of my 15 year old briar and with age the wood darkens. It adds to the beauty of this piece as it has no stain at all, the natural color will darken over time to a beautiful patina. This piece has a slight taper to the bowl although it looks like a straight walled piece and has a tapered dublin chamber. A nice sized Dublin and very comfortable to hold Hand cut Neon Cumberland mouthpiece w/Delrin tennon, hand made solid sterling silver “Rope” fitment.
