This is the 1700th pipe of my career! Quite a milestone to me, and for the occasion, a pretty neat pipe. I am not sure if it is a Apple or a Prince but I do like it. The mouthpiece is very different for me and it is quite comfortable. Most of my mouthpieces are .600+ wide at eh button and this is .500 which makes it very comfortable to me. This piece is with my highlighted brown stain and a creamy yellow Bakelite mouthpiece. A very neat piece and I think it all came together very well. This piece is rusticated then sand blasted which results in a incredibly deep, craggy, almost coral like appearance. I have had some requests lately to make my mouthpieces a bit flatter. For some reason since I started making my mouthpieces out of Ebonite I got away from a little technique that I use to use. I once again started using that technique and collectors have noticed a big improvement so I will continue to do this. It makes for a flatter more comfortable mouthpiece. I think you will notice a big difference.
